Player Rating ...

• The MVP for the league will be determined by Player Rating rather than number of Fantasy Points Scored 

• 2 performance aspects will be considered in formulating a player's rating as follows:-

  • ​Number of Wins per Picks

  • Fantasy Points Scored vs Total Fantasy points in a week

Calculation and Weightage

• Number of Wins on Picks

  • ​This will be a percentage  of winning picks out of the 4 mandatory picks in a given week

  • A weightage of 2 will be given to this percentage

  • Eg. If a player has 3 winning picks out of the 4 overall picks, his Wins on Picks percentage would be  0.75. Multiplied by the weightage of 2, his grading for Wins on Picks = 1.5

• Number of Fan Points Scored vs Total Points

  • ​This will be a percentage  of an individual's fantasy points divided by the total fantasy points by all players in a given week

  • A weightage of 3 will be given to this percentage

  • Eg. If a player has achieved  fantasy score of 120 Points in a week and the Total League Fantasy points for that week was 2,100, his percentage of Fan Points would be 0.05. Multiplied by the weightage of 3,  his grading for Fan Points Percentage  = 0.171

• Adding all those grading scores will give you the Players Rating of 

  • ​1.5 + 0.171 = 1.671

• These achieved percenatges will be calculated on a weekly basis and the Player with the highest Player Rating at the end of the Superbowl will be Legaue MVP for the Season

• In the event the top 2 players on the MVP table cannot be seperated on rating points, then the final tally of Fantasy Points will be  the tie breaker. If the Fantasy points are also similar, then both players will be awarded the MVP Title 

• For Players who join after the season has started and have missed any weeks, the calculation will commence only from the week they start. However this is only applicable until week 4.

• Players joing in after week 4 will have their ratings calculated utilizing Total Fan Points and Overall Picks from Week4 onwards

• Once you have picked even one week, no skipped week will be taken out of the ratings calculation, no matter at what point you started with the league
